The City of North Las Vegas is excited to share a unique development opportunity that will benefit both the developer and the city as well. Within the Job Creation Zone, we are looking for a single master developer that has the capability of bringing an anchor hospital with a full-service medical campus. We envision professional offices, restaurants, hotels, walking trails, biking, and recreational opportunities. The JCZ is zoned C-2 which encompasses a limitless number of opportunities.

135 acre lot ready for development near the VA hospital in North Las Vegas In 2014, Congress passed Public Law 113-291 containing Section 3092(c) – the Conveyance of Bureau of Land Management Land (BLM) to City of North Las Vegas, which allowed the Secretary, through the BLM, to convey public lands to the City and identified as the “North Las Vegas Job Creation Zone” (JCZ) on shown on the map entitled “North Las Vegas Valley Overview” dated November 5, 2013.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the City and the BLM was approved by City Markup Council on December 20, 2017 and executed on January 3, 2018 for the patent of 206.34 acres to date. Future land sales for private development will be sold by the City using a competitive sale process for nonresidential development.
