Read it: Draft Citizen Participation Plan

The City of North Las Vegas works to ensure citizen involvement in the planning, implementation and evaluation of its housing and community development programs, including the Community Development Block Grant and Emergency Solutions Grant programs. We recognize the importance of public participation that genuinely involves people who have experienced a housing crisis.

This Citizen Participation Plan sets forth the City’s policies and procedures for citizen participation with respect to the above federal programs.

The primary purpose of the programs covered by this plan is to help people and families quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness. Additionally, the city aims to further improve communities by providing decent housing, a suitable living environment and growing economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents.
