Changes to Municipal Court services in light of COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Initiative, North Las Vegas Municipal Court has adjusted several ways in which it serves the public.

Municipal Court, located at 2332 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is closed to the public except to accept cash bail payments for the release of an inmate.

All out-of-custody traffic and criminal arraignments, pre-trials and trials scheduled between March 16 and May 15 will be continued. Parties will be notified of their new court date via summons to their address of record with the Court.

All in-custody traffic and criminal video arraignments will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 3.

All appearances in response to a citation (not booked) requiring an appearance or response date between March 16 and May 15 will be continued to a new date. Parties will be notified of their new appearance or response date via summons sent to their address on the citation.

Surety bonds can be posted via the drop-off box located on the west side of the court entrance.

Cash bail can be posted in person at the Courthouse Customer Service Division from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Attorney motions and other pleadings can be filed via email at municourt@cityofnorthlasvegas.com.
