Municipal Court postpones out-of-custody hearings and trials scheduled from Nov. 30 to Dec. 31

In response to the increasing spread of COVID-19 statewide, beginning Nov. 30, the North Las Vegas Municipal Court is postponing hearings and trials for defendants who are out of custody.

North Las Vegas Municipal Court Chief Judge Sean Hoeffgen signed Administrative Order 2020-10 Wednesday morning, which postpones out-of-custody hearings and trials from Nov. 30 through Dec. 31, 2020. All out-of-custody cases that are currently scheduled for hearings or trials during this time will be rescheduled and summonses will be sent to the parties involved.

Motions and other pleadings should be filed electronically by emailing municourt@cityofnorthlasvegas.com.

In-custody video court hearings and trials will be held as scheduled and the Courthouse and Court Clerk's Office will remain open. For updated hours of operation for City facilities and COVID-19 information, visit the City of North Las Vegas website.
